Last month I bought my first home with the assistance of realtor Claudia Crone. Claudia started working with me a very long time ago and hung in there with me over a year, even after our buyer's rep contract expired in August, 2007.
I am admittedly an exceedingly conservative shopper, a severe researcher, a definite bargain hunter, and do nothing in a hurry. With the prior housing boom putting desirable properties far out of my financial reach, it took a long time for the market to come back to some degree of reasonableness. I commend Claudia for her patience.
I started my home-buying search in earnest spring of 2006 with a Keller Williams agent. That relationship ended December 2006. I went through two other agents very quickly (Dec. 2006-Jan. 2007) before coming to Claudia. She was recommended to me by my then mortgage broker at Lending Tree (Jonathan Cote). I asked for a mature, knowledgeable person who exhibited professionalism and knew Prince William County.
These qualities are indeed manifest in Claudia. She maintained that professionalism throughout our house shopping journey. She was always available, responded to my queries immediately, always in touch, made several sound recommendations before and after I settled on the house I now own, has a large network of referrals for various services, didn't push me too much, knew when to stop pushing when I pushed back (smile), respected my bidding strategies, and presented all my offers whether she agreed with the pricing or not.
What I require foremost in all relationships (professional and personal) is respect. Claudia has always respected me, from day 1 until the present.
I truly love my new home, even though it is still hard to believe I actually own it! I thank Claudia for helping me find and negotiate its purchase.

My wife and I began looking for a home last summer. My wife was more ready than I was, but I went along with it just in case I saw something I liked. We contacted Claudia and right away she was emailing us different homes to look over and ready to take us out to view some. After seeing the houses we picked out I still wasn't ready to make a leap into homeownership. We told Claudia and she was more sympathetic to how I felt and only asked that we keep her in mind when we felt we were ready again. Then in February, after looking over our finances I felt I was comfortable in buying a house. I had my wife call Claudia and she was more than ready to help us start looking again. She had chosen five homes for us to look at based on what we said we were lookng for. The first house we looked at was Claudia's favorite and in the end it turned out to be ours as well.
The property was a foreclosure and the bank selling the home took their sweet time not only accepting our offer, but setting everything in motion to close the sale. Because it was taking so long to close my wife kept worrying, but luckily for me Claudia was more than eager to take calls from my wife almost everyday and assure her that everything was fine and we'd be in our new home sooner than she'd think. We've been in our home two weeks now and we haven't had a hint of buyer's remorse. I attribute that to the time Claudia put into finding a home with everything we were looking for and for that I am very thankful.

I am a single mother of 3 children. To tell you that I was scared when I began my venture would be an understatement. I met Claudia Crone just by chance one day as I was out looking around the Stafford area. I was attracted to this area because of the school system. She was extremely friendly. Some time ago a good friend of mine kept raving on and on about Claudia and what a wonderful job she did for them at selling their home. It seemed as if every time I spoke to them that they were bringing up Claudia's name. I guess that just always stuck in my head because when the time came for me to put my own house on the market, I remembered her name and figured I may as well give her a try too.
Well, wonderful does not begin to describe this woman! The very same day I contacted her she came out to my house. She took pictures and produced a beautiful color brochure immediately. We listed it with in 48 hours. She put ads on several different websites and large color advertisements in the newspaper. Claudia is clearly a go-getter and gets the job done right. She is honest and will give you many suggestions as to things you can do to help your house sell but doesn't overwhelm you either. She is friendly and very approachable and makes you feel like she is your friend who just happens to be selling your home.
Only a short time after my house was listed my mother was in a very serious accident which made it impossible for me to cope with trying to sell my home at that time. Claudia's sympathy and understanding was over the top. Any other agent would have only been concerned with how soon they could sell the house and be paid their commission....not Claudia. She immediately pulled the house from the market and told me not to even think about it until I was ready.
A month later, when things in my life became more manageable, Claudia re-listed the house and had a buyer within two weeks. I moved to Michigan before the closing, and Claudia handled ALL of the little details that went along with getting that house closed. She hired painters, got quotes from power wash companies, lined up everything that needed to be done, and even served as my power of attorney at closing. This woman is an outstanding realtor and will go way beyond the expected role of her position to ensure that you have a pleasant and stress-free experience selling your home. Coldwell Banker must be very proud to have her on their team!
